Messianic Judaism 48

Under redundant, see redundant.

The redundancy argument is also known as arguing in circles. If you are supposed to pick me up for a ride at 8:00 and show up at 8:40, and I tell you, “you’re late…”

The correct answer IS NOT a blank stare and… “No I’m not!”

This is a direct quote from a Messianic website – it will absolutely blow your mind.

“Did you know, for instance, that obedience to Torah has nothing,  whatsoever to do with “works” or being “under the law?” Works is being an elder at your church, or driving the church bus, or being part of some church ministry…”

Uh…. under “redundant…” if this was a Hovind seminar, he’d probably tell you the “jump frog!” joke at this point, repeat the quote from the Messianics, and would repeat “jump, frog!” at the end of it.

I’m not as polite. This is as skewered an argument as I can find.

Let me define works for you – because apparently the person writing this has no idea what works is, or is deliberately arguing something false for the purpose of getting you to believe what he’s telling you is true.

Works is defined in relation to Salvation, Biblically. Driving the church bus will not save you.

Messianics believe that “you have to be saved by Jesus Christ, but if you don’t keep the Torah, you won’t be saved.”

uh… THAT’S works.

16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16 (KJV)
Ergon Nomou… works of the law. Blows that whole argument out of the water!

Works are defined not as good deeds, but rather, the attempt to earn or maintain your salvation.

How are you saved? I’m going to deal with this in detail very soon. Suffice it to say the Messianic way is a complete contradiction.

If Jesus Christ saves you, how saved are you? The Messianic maintians, “not very”. you have to keep doing it.

Wait. How can I possibly be at all involved in my salvation? It’s a gift – all I have to do is accept it.

If I have ANY power whatsoever to have ANYTHING to do with my salvation, it becomes MY salvation, not the Lord’s.

That’s not the Jesus Christ of the Bible – that’s a different Jesus.

“How is keeping His commanded Seventh Day Sabbath “works” or “being under the law?” … How is keeping His commanded seven Feasts “works” or “being under the law?” There’s a valid reason to keep each one: They are our “dates” with God!”

Well, first, the Sabbath was never commanded to Gentiles. The sabbath was binding on Jews only.  The law was binding until you are born again. To be born again means you have died. Once you’re died to the law, it becomes works to resume doing it again, if you at any time think it keeps your salvation, maintains it, or keeps you from losing it.

Your welcome. glad I could explain it.

Over the next few days, I’ll detail more on WHAT salvation is, how it happens, and warning signs if you are not saved (hint – if you’re trusting in anything other than Jesus Christ, big time warning…)

Messianic Judaism 47

Today’s one is a little bit harder.

It reminds me of the standard cult tactic part one and two. Part one is the revealing of information over time – that is, you’re not told everything up front

to be a messianic, you’d think they’d have to tell you, “well, you’ll have to buy all this Jewish stuff, get rid of your Christmas stuff, celebrate only Jewish holidays -but our way – and tell your families goodbye.”

But of course, if they told you all that right off the bat, you’d bite your lip and say, “uh.. maybe I’ll try the Jehovah’s Witnesses… they cost less. I don’t have to spend as much money.”

It basically starts off with you having to buy a lot of stuff. Nobody comes out and tells you this. You just join, and everyone (even the women) have a really nice tallis. Of course, if you can’t afford the $200 tallis from Source for Everything Jewish, or the $119 one from Holylandmarketplace.com, you can always buy the rayon one that someone in the “synagogue” sells, with awkward Hebrew letters cut out and glued on with Elmer’s Glue. $35.00

There’s the Shabbos candle holders. I beg your pardon, Shabbat. Heaven forbid you should speak Ashkenazi Hebrew around these people, they’ll flip out on you. I had Gentiles correct my pronunciation time and again!

You have to get candle holders for the Shabbat candles. Of course, you could get the ones from the thrift store, but NO, everyone gives you that look down their nose if you just buy the $3 wood ones. You need to buy the expensive ones. $19 from messianicjewish.net. Wow the prices have actually come down from the ’90’s!

You get the idea. Eventually, the $89 manorah, the $59 hannukiah, the tefillin set at $139, etc.

So, you buy this a little at a time.

You get your Complete Jewish Bible, and of course you need to get the commentary, because you simply can’t read the bible foryourself.

Next, they spring the surprise on you.

No more Christmas. Like everyone else who gets it wrong, they assume because it’s called Christ-Mass that it’s got to be some evil, pagan thing. Listen, I’d love to hear from other Jews if they feel the same way, but the one thing that had me question my Judaism more than anything else was all the Gentile Hooplah! “Jesus is the Reason for the Season!” “Happy Birthday, Jesus!” “Keep Christ in Christmas!”

The whole while, you’ve got a voice saying, “Jesus is the Messiah. Judaism is denying its Messiah. Christianity is the truth. You’re going to die without your own saviour.”

It used to really bother me. REALLY. And when I got saved, I felt more at ease with it than anything else. Of course, it’s like a cardinal sin to say that if you’re Independent Fundamentalist Baptist, but I can point you to a sermon by Marc Monte that will answer ALL the controversies…

Should Christians Celebrate Christmas?

So, the Messianics urge you to get rid of your Christmas stuff, and get Jewish stuff instead.

Next, they advise you, “You’re going to have to avoid your family during Christmas…”

DING DING DING DING

The warning bell just rang. “Is this a cult?” Yes, run as fast as you can from it!

Finally, having successfully indoctrinated you against the holidays you were used to, family time during holidays, a new identity (Did I mention they push SO HARD for Gentiles to take on Jewish names? Like Batya Wooten. Gentile, but took a Jewish name once she got into the whole Messianic thing)

THen finally it comes. “You really are going to have to avoid your family, if they’re coming between you and the Torah. They’re just going to drag you right into the church.”

And… that’s a BAD thing???

Actually, your family will put up with your odd little Hebrew-isms. They probably think it’s neat, but a little weird. Will they drag you to church? no, they’re probably thrilled you’re doing something with God.

But the Messianics are calling for the cult like separation.

It doesn’t happen with every synagogue, I’m told. But I’ve heard the stories over and over again.

It’s hard not to accuse the Messianics of being a cult… when they just keep ACTING like one!

Messianic Jews and Kosher pt. 2

Make sure, before you comment on this one, you read part 1!

I used to keep kosher. I was a Chassidic Jew, and I used the standard ChK kashrus as my hecksher.

To do that, I had to have two refrigerators – a small one (“Apartment size”) for meat, and the larger one for pareve and dairy.

I had three sets of dishes – meat, milchig (dairy) and Pesach (passover). The Pesach dishes were all sealed off for most of the year, and only brought out for a little over a week – then put right back.

I had meat pans, dairy pans… silverware with different colored handles to differentiate between meat and dairy.

All the meat I ate was at LEAST Glatt kosher,  but preferably ChK. And that was far too loose for my Chabad Rabbi, who got on me about “You need to stay in hecksher!” It was killed according to Jewish law, the blood covered over by dirt or straw and dirt combined, based upon the practice of the shochet (butcher). Jewish prayers were said before it was done, and the shochet had knives that were so sharp that they can take off a finger and you wouldn’t know it.

Then I left my Judaism, and gave my life to Jesus Christ because, well, he’s the Messiah. He died so that I can live. and when He rose from the grave, I rose with him.

Messianic Jews like to say, they eat kosher. They have one set of dishes, unless they’re in a higher income bracket, and can afford finer dishes. They don’t differentiate between meat and dairy.

3 Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing. 4 These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat, 5 The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois. 6 And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat. 7 Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you. 8 And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase. 9 These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat: 10 And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you. 11 Of all clean birds ye shall eat. 12 But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, 13 And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind, 14 And every raven after his kind, 15 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind, 16 The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan, 17 And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cormorant, 18 And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. 19 And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten. 20 But of all clean fowls ye may eat. 21 Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk. Deuteronomy 14:3-21 (KJV)

There it is. “You shall not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.” Prove to me that the cheese on your burger did not come from the calf’s mother. It is the UTMOST of cruelty in the eyes of God to take the offspring of an animal, and boil it in the very substance that is supposed to nurture that infant to life.

That’s why Jews refuse to eat any dairy and meat together. It’s in your Bible, in a section on kashrus.

You claim you keep kosher, and all Christians need to keep the law to keep from losing their salvation. And then… you don’t keep it either!

1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, Matthew 23:1-5 (KJV)

As I pointed out last time, very often Messianics will avoid outright pork… but will eat food products that may have pork products in them. A quick glance at the ingredients. “Nope! No pork.” but sometimes trace elements of pork or pork lard are used in “natural flavorings”. Look at the ingredients on a bag of pork rinds some time. It doesn’t mention pork at all in it. I guarantee there’s some in it.

They are not careful at all about what products are on one plate, and then other products on it. Last time I put up verses showing that, if you’re going to claim to keep the law, you have to pay strict attention to what touches your plates. There are detailed laws in Leviticus about “if something unclean touches something, then it is unclean.” Go ahead, read the first eleven chapters. You’re in for a rude shock.

There’s detailed verses on this. And Messianics don’t care. As long as they’re not sitting down to a meal of outright pork, that’s fine. Turkey pepperoni is okay. Except pork fat is used as an ingredient, under the label “natural flavorings.” Oops. And then you’re putting it on a cheese pizza.

My point is simple… Messianics have NO CLUE what it means to keep the law. I’ve challenged it before. Live ONE YEAR truly Torah Observant… and you will FINALLY understand the Law.

3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Galatians 5:3-4 (KJV)

24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Galatians 3:24-25 (KJV)

21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:21 (KJV)

Read these words carefully…

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (KJV)

“Should not perish, but have EVERLASTING life.”

How long?

“ever lasting.”

You cannot lose your salvation – it’s not yours to lose. You have died to the law. Keeping kosher will not get you merit points in heaven.

Messianic Judaism 46

years ago, there used to be a radio program, “the world of tomorrow” run by a bellicose man, Herbert W. Armstrong. He used to preach, “America, listen up! nobody else is going to give you the truth except me!”

Everything he preached is Messianic Judaism to the core.

Except the key issue of, the Lord Jesus Christ would come for all of them while Armstrong was alive. And Armstrong died in the 90’s.

There were three men, highly placed in Armstrong’s worldwide church of God. One of them was Joseph Tkach. He began to read his Bible after Armstrong died, and found that to his surprise… the Bible did not back up his claims.

There was another man at the Church of God who was doing the same. The two began to talk, at first talking in hints, before realizing they’d come to the same opinion at the same time. And they began sharing notes.

Then they got together with the current president of the Worldwide Church of God… Tkach’s father. And they presented everything they’d been learning. Tkach senior agreed to sit with them and examine every one of Armstrong’s teachings.

Then the following Sabbath, presented them to the congregations worldwide, televised.

it split their church. Worldwide Church of God fragmented, now only a third of what it was. And they did it because it was the truth.

The majority of people do not want the truth. The truth is inconvenient, ugly. The truth says to Jew and Gentile alike, that we are sinners deserving of hell. That we cannot earn our salvation. Any mention of law keeping is put aside after you read Eph. 2:-9

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

If it’s a GIFT, it’s DONE!!!

Tkach did something most Messianic Rabbi’s are afraid to do. And that’s publicly announce that their doctrine was wrong. Cultic.

If Worldwide Church of God (Armstrong) was a cult… .then Messianic Judaism, who teaches the same thing is the same thing. a cult.

You need to get out of it, pronto.

I bring up Tkach because men in a law keeping, sabbath keeping cult read their Bibles, determined to follow the truth no matter where it led.

I’ve yet to see a Messianic Rabbi do that.

Messianic Judaism 45

I’m guessing this one is number 45 – I’ve resumed this topic lately, because well… it’s growing. It almost seems like the more I caution people against this cult, the more the unsaved flock to join it!

A while ago, Joel Osteen tried to convince his congregation and many watching with the standard Messianic argument that “pork and shellfsh Biblically is not food.”

I’m familiar with that argument, because I remember when it was first brought up in the 90’s. It’s very interesting to me that most of the arguments and articles Messianic Judaism now advances, were originated on that website – and that today’s so-called major players in Messianic Judaism simply have stolen the arguments – almost word for word – from that original website.

Yesterday I dealt with the kosher argument, in which I pointed out the hypocrisy of saying one must keep kosher to be saved… but Messianics don’t keep kosher!

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God. 3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances. 4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God. 5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD. Leviticus 18:1-5 (KJV)

The issue is not that these things Biblically are not food. The concept is that Israel was to be a peculiar people, special, set aside, as a living witness, an entire nations of kings and priests, every one of them.

the issue was, that all these forms of meat are indeed food – but that Israel was supposed to be set aside, as a living witness.

A Chabad Rabbi who had a TV show for a while used to say that “We should go ahead and admit that such foods are indeed good to eat… but we have been commanded not to eat them as a nation that is set apart to God.”

That’s a more Biblical argument.

Now for another Biblical argument…

The only people at Sinai, who answered that we would obey the Lord, was Jews and a multitude of Egyptians who followed us out of Egypt.

After that moment, there is no mention of the multitude of Egyptians, but only Jews. Either the Egyptians said, “I dunno, this is too weird, I quit…” or more likely, as of that moment, they became converts to Judaism. That’s the position of the Rabbis that the Messianics revere so much.

Who knows, I might actually be aa descendant of those Egyptians, instead of a direct descendant of Judah!

The law, the ceremonial portions of it, applied only to Jews. Yarmulke, tallis, tefillin, mezuzot, shabbos, shabbos candles, benchers, bris, the whole nine yards – all apply only to Jews.

To quote my old Rabbi, “The entire ten commandments were for the Jews. When Gentiles take them, they’re breaking the eighth commandment.”

15 Thou shalt not steal. Exodus 20:15 (KJV)

We’ve died to the law if we’re Christians.

Yet there’s a huge effort to get Gentiles, who were NEVER commanded to keep the law, to do JUST that!

Since the vast majority of Messianic congregations are gentile, with one or two Jews per synagogue, to make it Messianic, one must first get all the Gentiles to wear tallis and yarmulke.

yes, yes, I know – it’s forbidden to speak Ashkenazi Hebrew in Messianic Judaism. Heaven knows how many times I’d gotten the angry stares and the well-intentioned correcting from gentiles, who would correct me by saying “kippah” every time I said “yarmulke.” Or “tallit” every time I said “Tallis.”

Really.

The law issue comes down to, “how are we saved? Are sin offerings still required?”

The Messianic is caught between worlds, between the synagogue and the church, between the page after the book of Malachi and before the first page of Matthew. Mentally, it’s an uncomfortable balancing act. This week, I’m going to delve into the issue of salvation, how it happens, why it happens, who does it, how long does it last, is it permanent, and is any action of ours required to earn it or keep it?

Messianic Judaism and Kosher

There’s more to kosher than just avoiding of pig meat.

Messianic Judaism makes a great deal about Kosher, Tallis, Yarmulke, and Shabbes. Amazingly enough, they manage to violate all of them while insisting if you don’t, you’ll go to Hell!

Leviticus 11 speaks of keeping Kosher.

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. 3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat. 4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. 8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you. Leviticus 11:1-8 (KJV)

That’s as far as most Messianics go.

almost all of them ignore this part…

24 And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even. Leviticus 11:24 (KJV)

I know for a fact that Kosher restaurants put lettuce on a light box to make sure they are not eating insects. Now, that’s kosher.

I’m bringing this up to contrast what we call kosher and what MJ’s say is kosher.

Christians are under no obligations to  keep kosher. I’m going to say that right off the bat, as kosher is part of the law. I’ll be explaining the law and salvation in a few days, but here’s a short point that should shock any Messianic into awareness….

Millions of people have read the Bible over the last 2,000 years. Millions of people have come to the conclusion that the Bible tells us we are saved by grace through faith. The bible tells us that none are righteous, no not one, and that none can be made righteous by works of the law.

So… uh…. why are you so convinced that nobody found the truth until the 1990’s? It wasn’t until David H. Stern’s Jewish New Testament and his flawed translation from the Greek, that suddenly everyone’s so concerned about “see not touch not taste not handle not!”

You read the King James and it says salvation by faith through grace. You read the modern Bible per-versions and even they agree that we are saved by grace and not through faith.

David H. Stern comes along and you never bothered to think – “hey, maybe this guy is mistranslating the Bible!!!”? That never occurred to you?

The translators of the King James Bible sat down and consulted all kinds of Greek manuscripts. not printed ones, handwritten ones. In different handwriting styles. If you learn anything about the history of Greek texts, you become aware that – hey, the very handwriting style in it tells you what era it’s from! (it’s also conclusive proof that Sinaiticus is a forgery as it’s written in Attic Greek, and not Koine Greek – and in the wrong handwriting style for its age).

So, for CENTURIES people have read that we no longer need to keep  the Torah, and one man comes along and says otherwise – and you don’t smell wolf fur under that sheep’s clothing?

OK, for the sake of argument, let’s assume you’re right. Here’s what you need to do to get your house kosher.

First, stop buying regular grocery store meat. It’s not properly shechted… it has to be drained from the animal and covered with dirt. Modern beef processes do not do that.

Another point is you have absolutely no guarantee that the meat you’re eating is not also done in a plant that processes pork. If that’s the case, then the meat you’re eating is unclean.

All of the plates, pots, pans, silverwear, cups and glasses need to be taken to a Jewish mikveh and immersed.

32 And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed. 33 And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it. 34 Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean. 35 And every thing whereupon any part of their carcase falleth shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you. 36 Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean. Leviticus 11:32-36 (KJV)

There ya go! That’s the Torah!!! According to you, you gotta obey it, or you’re gonna lose your salvation, or it’ll turn out you didn’t have it.

Your stove has to be heated to red hot. If you’ve got breaks in the vinyl or plastic in your dishwasher, and any of the metal is exposed, and you put dishes that had unkosher things in it… you’re doomed. Throw the thing out. It’s a pain. My old Rabbi just locked his, and did dishes by hand. You can’t kosher it without taking those parts out and replacing them.

Hey, you’re the one who says every other Christian is wrong, and we have to eat kosher! You first.

Oh, and cheeseburgers? Not kosher. You can’t eat meat and cheese. Bottom line.

All your food has to be kosher. Check for a reliable hekhsher.

Or you could read your Bible, and see we are not saved by works lest any man should boast.

Messianic Judaism: Salvation by Grace?

Messianics make a lot of noise about Kosher.

Key to this of course, is about the key contention that many Messianics  hold to the completely contradictory Tomorrow, we’ll talk about what kosher is, is not, and is this something Christians should be worried about? (the hint there is my tone of voice… it’s not, and I’ll explain why tomorrow.)

The party line is that… salvation is by grace… but once saved, the Christian must start obeying the law of God, or risk losing their salvation.

So, let me get this straight… Jesus Christ died for my sins, paying them in full… but if I don’t keep the Sabbath, then He’ll stop payment on the check? Or dispute the charge with the credit company???

Messianic Judaism sells this line, “we are not under the penalties of the law if we are found to be in Messiah.”

Note the words “The penalties of the law…”

on other words, if you do not keep the law, you will be punished… and probably lose your salvation.

They’re  actually too cagey to come out and say it… most of them…  at least one of them comes right out and says…

“The Truth is, you will surely die, be separated from God for eternity if you’re not Torah observant.” (lasttrumpet.org)

I’m not getting this. How can we be saved by Grace, but have to earn our salvation at the same time?

It’s like the same thing Roman Catholics say when they say we’re saved by grace, but must also do works as a means of added grace. That’s a re-interpretation of the word Grace.

A gift is given. It is not earned. A paycheck is earned by works given.

If I give you something and you have to keep paying for it, that’s a rental.

Jesus Christ on the cross said, “it is finished”, not “it is begun.”

If you cannot wrap your head around this single concept, a concept explained over and over again in the New Testament, we need DRASTICALLY to go back to square one.

I’m going to say it very clearly – if you cannot understand that Jesus Christ paid it all for you, that it is finished, done, completed on the Cross, justified, a propitiation for our sins once for all… you’re not saved.

That moment when you fearfully realize you  are a sinner, all have sinned, no flesh shall be justified by works of the law, that the wages of sin is death, and that you will spend eternity in Hell…

That panicky moment when you cry out, “Lord, I’m sorry! Save me!!!” it’s DONE. You are SAVED. Paid in full.

Justified means “just as if I’d never sinned.”

Prpotiation means “satisfaction of a debt.”

PAID IN FULL.

Do we get it now? YOU’RE SAVED – YOU’RE NOT GOING TO HELL!!!!

Do I get a “Praise God” yet?

ANYONE who comes along and says anything different is a false prophet, a wolf in sheeps clothing, an antichrist.  They, if they do not repent and die teaching such things… will end up in the worst way. In the worst place. Punished far more intensely than just someone who rejects Jesus Christ. And at the Great White Throne Judgment, are going to have to explain IN DETAIL why they tried to mislead others.

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. (Luke 17:1-2)

If you’ve taught this in the past…. repent now. Get saved.
