Comment Policy

Update 2017: I finally had to take down the comment feature. I was literally spending far more time answering people in pointless debates than writing articles. That’s a problem. In addition, several times, people got violently angry when their circular logic failed to convince me. That’s a problem. So, to prevent this from getting any worse… I’ve disabled the comment function.

Should I ever get anyone to assist by going through comments for me and removing everyone who wants to debate, I can get back to what I intended it for – people to add comments about what it meant to them, or to get questions answered.

If you’d like to read what was my comment policy (a policy that few abided by, and most completely disregarded….) read on.

This is my blog. I post on it what edifies and instructs like minded believers, and those who are seeking the truth. “what is it I should know as a Christian?” Or even, “I want to know the truth, but all religions seem to say the same thing… can someone show me the right way?”

If you’re coming here to try to find a free forum, please look somewhere else. I’ve only got a hundred or so readers. I’m not about to let you infect them with incorrect teachings or heresies after I’ve labored so hard in only 13 months to teach correctly.

I’ve noticed I’ve posted many articles explaining what is correct doctrine, refuting false doctrine. refuting heresies… and everyone who’s disagreed with me on what I write has done exactly the same thing – deny what I’ve written with condensed reasons why you believe what you do.

And at no time did ANYONE answer the hundreds of points I’ve raised.

NOT ANSWERING the points I’ve raised is MISSING the point.

If I can demonstrate to you it’s Biblical, and that your viewpoint is flawed… maybe you need to study it and pray about it? Forget trying to convince me. I’ve found the truth, and the truth has set me free.

If you’re 100% convinced in your heresy or doctrinal error, such as Preterism or Jehovah’s Witnesses or Roman Catholicism, and I won’t be able to change your mind.. you’re wasting your time and mine trying to debate.

Simply put, I believe the Holy Bible as written, what it says about God, the Lord Jesus Christ, Salvation, the Holy Spirit, Hell, etc. The people who disagree with me, quite simply, do not. That’s why I’m writing this – to SAVE you! I’m trying to keep you from going to Hell!

And if one person, just one, in Heaven says to me, “I found your blog, and it made me question what I was taught… and the Holy Spirit led me to Jesus…” it’ll all be worth it!

sooo, with that in mind……. I’d like to take this time to re-state my policy on comment debates and email debates. I don’t have time for them – not interested. I’m still in Seminary, training for whatever ministry the Lord plans on putting me in. This is my blog, and I write what I like to write about, in hopes that I will reach some and “…might by all means save some.” 1 Corinthians 9:22 (KJV)

If you don’t agree – get your own blog.If you already have one… write in that one, not mine! If you want to be contentious – this is my blog. Get your own or write on your own. You have freedom of speech to write about whatever you like, and I won’t come to your blog, challenge you, and try to engage in comment wars.

I provide the ability to comment as a courtesy, and for those people who would like to hear more on some issues. Scripture commands me to admonish a heretic once, twice at the most – and reject. If I write about something that refers to your position as a heresy – that’s admonition number one.

If I allow your comment – which I usually will allow one, unless it’s a Ad Hominem attack – and answer you, that’s admonition number two. After that, Scripture commands I break it off. Just in case you’re not understanding what an Ad Hominem attack is, calling me a liar repeatedly fits that description.

If your comments are basically taking the form of a 600-page dissertation,… it’s not going through either. I’m very sorry. I work a job, and am currently working on my Master’s degree.

See below for questions. Thank you, and have a very good day!

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Romans 16:17-18 (KJV)

6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Ephesians 5:6-9 (KJV)

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Ephesians 5:11 (KJV)

6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. 7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; 8 Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: 9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. 10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. 11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. 12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. 13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. 14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. 15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. 2 Thessalonians 3:6-15 (KJV)

3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 1 Timothy 6:3-5 (KJV)

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. 2 Timothy 2:15-26 (KJV)

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV)

6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. 2 John 1:6-11 (KJV)

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 2 John 1:10 (KJV) 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8-9 (KJV)

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:5 (KJV) 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (KJV)

10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. 2 Timothy 4:10 (KJV)

27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:27 (KJV)

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Psalm 1:1-2 (KJV)

15 The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going. Proverbs 14:15 (KJV)

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11 (KJV)

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV)

Bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 (KJV)

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:14 (KJV)

9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. 10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. Titus 3:9-11 (KJV)

  1. Wow. Great scriptures. Tell me brother, please. What are some example of a “doctrine which is according to godliness?” Also, after the milk of the word, such as salvation through faith in Jesus Christ by grace, what are the fundamental doctrines Christian believers need to hold to? What is the meat, in other words?

What are the “sound doctrines,” Paul discusses in Titus chapters one and two? There’s a long list of these doctrines for leaders in chapter one. In chapter two a longer list for rank and file believers.

Finally, please study the Greek meaning of the word which KJV translates “study.” I trust you are studying KOINE Greek in seminary, right? I have found having ability to discern the original language is Indispensable to rightly dividing the word of truth. But in case you haven’t taken it yet, you can find the meaning of “study” in a good concordance, such as Strong’s.

    Prayers for you and yours,

    1. All right, Brother, what’s your point? σπουδάζω Spoudadzo means to be diligent, to study. I’m finished with my Koine Greek year, about two years ago.
What does this have to do with why I won’t be drawn into long, endless debates with heretics or unbelievers?

As for some examples of doctrines according to Godliness, I might recommend a study from Genesis to Revelation. If you want the short form, see my statement of faith. It’s MY statement of faith. It’s what I believe to be correct doctrine as explained in the Bible.
I don’t see what these subjects have to do with the doctrine of Separation from false teachers, false bretheren, or false religions. I believe that if I can find THAT many Scriptures such as I list, it’s a basic doctrine that the Kingdom of Christ has neglected to its own dismay. We are FAR too ready to accept people who name the name of Christ, when we should first be reading statements of faith and testimonies of salvation.

For instance, I can think of entire denominations that advocate that if one has water sprinkled on their forehead as a baby, they are saved. I don’t see any example of that in the Bible whatsoever. The Bible states VERY clearly in John 3:3 that “Ye must be born again”.
There are large groups of people who state that since they’re predestined to be saved, they don’t have to be born again – and again, I’m not seeing that in Scripture.
There are other denominations that teach if you are raised in the church or attend faithfully – you’re saved. That’s not in the Bible either!

How can I call someone with a testimony like that a Christian??? Is it love if I just accept them, and I don’t see them in the Rapture, or at the Believers’ Judgment… but I do see them at the Great White Throne Judgment? How is that love??? Far better love to explain the Gospel to them, clear up the misunderstandings, and see them with us FOREVER in the New Jerusalem!
      THAT’S love. That’s Christian love.
I don’t know if that’s what your getting at, because I’m missing your point.
