Hell is real, and Biblical

One of the big, big, BIG bees in my bonnet absolutely has to be the denial of Hell.

I can remember seeing a TV pastor back in the 90’s who was good, but I can’t remember who he was. Until the one day he came right out and said… “I don’t believe a loving God would condemn people to a literal, burning Hell for all eternity.” He waffled on it, managing to claim salvation for them after they were burned for a while, then Annhilationism for the rest.

It was the last time I ever watched him. Don’t remember who he was.

Today, on BBN, I heard the announcer say the one phrase guaranteed to get my goat… “And if you die without Christ, you will spend eternity separated from God.” In nice, friendly tones.

Anyone remember when preachers used to warn people, “If you deny Jesus Christ, you will burn in Hell for all eternity”? Remember that? Apparently, amongst themselves, today’s crop of false pastors like to speak of air conditioning now. Hell is a time out. You don’t get to have a personal relationship with God. You don’t get to eat at the Lord’s Table. You just sit there and face the wall, I guess.

Or you continue living in some city, I guess, living life like you do now. Repent, or life will go on as usual!!!

If you, as a pastor, claim that Hell is eternal separation from God you are

A). Calling God a liar (I plan on standing quite a distance away from you when we meet the Lord face to face)

B). Admitting you don’t believe the Bible

C). lying and deceiving everyone who hears you or reads your teachings

D). forgetting to pull the sheep’s wool down over your wolf fur.

Hell is not eternal separation from God.

HEll is flames. Endless suffering. You do not burn away into nothing.  You do not spend 364 days in torment then turn to ash. You do not bounce back and forth like a ping pong ball. You do not party with all your friends.

You burn. You are wrapped in flames, endlessly agonizing flames. Tears stream down your burning eyes, as you sob and weep, caught in endless torment. have you ever sobbed so hard you felt like you were panicking because you couldn’t stop? Guess what. Taste of things to come.

Ever been burned? I’ve gotten burned by something that was extremely hot, so hot my burn continued to cook for some time by itself. Can you imagine that forever?

Because that’s what the Bible describes. Bottom line. Telling people that’s eternal separation from God  is so misleading as to be horribly cruel.

“You told me I’d just be in time out! I thought I could live with that! You never mentioned being eaten alive by worms, and burning forever in this torment!!!”

Can you imagine if you had to hear someone you knew scream that at you during the Great White Throne Judgment? What would you say?

People bought up books about Heaven is real. Yes. I know. Duh. Heaven is very real. I can recommend a really good book that talks about that. It’s called the Bible.

But today, we’re all so worried about offending people that all we fill our pews with is tares, wolves, and unrepentant persons whom we convince them are saved.

And a couple of seconds after they die, the torment starts.

“Guess what? You weren’t saved!”

Listen, that’s no time to find out. That’s another reason why God is giving us the Rapture soon. So the rest of the so-called saved who never were Biblically saved have a chance to get that way before death.

Now for the often-untalked about truth. Hell is only the beginning. After the Great White Throne, everyone will be cast alive into the lake of fire. That’s… going to be even worse. Because everyone’s level of punishment will be set by God. And… it’s going to be horrific. That is the Second Death. It’s final. There’s no getting out of it. no pleading, no arguing, no bargaining.

So stop that heretical talk of, “Eternal separation from God.” You will save ZERO people with that. And Hell is real, and terrible.

19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Luke 16:19-31 (KJV)

Some random questions for any member of the SDA…

What authority gave Ellen G. White the authority to lead the SDA church? Why did no one object to her assuming control?

Does the SDA church deny today that they teach that Jesus is the archangel Michael?

Do they deny that they are indeed the authors of the Jehovah’s Witnesses heresies?

there are major errors associated with the SDA’s. So many in fact that they conflicgt with orthodox christian doctrines in areas of theology, christology, pneumatology, soteriology, hamartiology, angelology…. almost every area of doctrine.

I would submit that the differences remain so great that the SDA cannot be considered Christian, but rather a pagan religion or a cult. Loosely organized and poorly controlled, but still a cult.

What test prophecy did Ellen G. White give before the Adventists accepted her as a prophet?

Error led to the SDa accepting Ellen G as a prophet, this in turn led to accepting a host of doctrinal errors.

SDA denies today that they originally did not believe Jesus is God.

Ellen G. White accepted the Trinity, but her husband James White did not.

Is this not a conflict? If she truly was a prophet of God as James White taught others, then would he not have simply accepted what she taught on this issue?

And is this not a conflict that she claimed (in violation of Scripture) to speak with him and be guided by him after he died? We know that any who deny the Trinity will not inherit the kingdom of God. So, either she was a false prophet from the start, as I have maintained from the start, or the James white manifestation was a demon. In that latter case, the writings of Ellen G. White cannot be the equal of Scripture, nor can they complete them as the SDA maintain.

At what point was she misled by a demonic apparition? If she was a prophet, why did she not realize he was a demon?

Why would she speak to the dead, when if she was a prophet she would have known that this was forbidden by Scripture?

If she was mistaken, she cannot be a prophet. If she was lying, she cannot be a prophet. If she was misled, she cannot be a prophet. The only hope for the SDA church now is to deny that the spirit of James White came to Ellen G. White after his death and descent into Hell, and claim the stories were forged. In which case we would have a different problem then – which of her writings are authentic and which are forgeries???

doctrinal error leads to doctrinal error. If the seed is corrupt, so too will the fully grown plant from that seed.

If William Miller was wrong right from the start, so too will everything that grew out of it, including the SDA, which doctrinally is as full of error as Miller’s other offspring the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Over the last tow days, we examined Soul Sleep and put that one away forever as an exploded myth.

Let’s look at Annihilationism. This is the teaching that a soul is tormented only for a brief time, and then is reduced to ashes.

It’s going to be a very short article, trust me.

20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. Revelation 19:20 (KJV)

Okay, we see them in Hell.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20:10 (KJV)

uh… apparently the short time is not all that short, because after 1,000 years, the antichrist and the false prophet are still in Hell.

Apparently, annihilationism is very slow!

So slow it doesn’t happen.

And…. doesn’t Rev. 20:10 say it will last forever and ever?

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. Mark 9:43-48 (KJV)

How can you possibly read these verses and believe that anyone is destroyed forever? The Bible says that you exist forever, in one way or another. And unless you want to be writhing in agony with Ellen G. White, this would be your time to come out of the SDA and get saved!
