Being A Christian – Individual Soul Liberty

You have absolutely the right… to be wrong.

In the New Testament, we are commanded to persuade men, not coerce them.

If someone absolutely wants to go to Hell… they have that right.

I try to convince men… but if you insist on suffering for all eternity, you have that right.

Many Atheists profess a fear that Baptists will try to force them to believe. And so, some go to amazing lengths to persecute Christians, and many more spend a great deal of time looking for Christian blogs to harass, because of that fear.

You’ve got nothing to worry about from Baptists. I can’t say the same for others. Indeed, I champion your right to be completely wrong. No forced conversions here!

On the other hand, if someone becomes convinced of their sinful nature, and realizes they deserve nothing more than an eternity in Hell… and they realize that the entire point of Jesus Christ was to provide them a free way out, at the expense of His own death…

They have the absolute right to seek God for that salvation. They are not predestined to an eternity of eternal suffering, no matter how much they want to be saved. Whosoever…all…whoever… whomever. The Bible is astoundingly clear on this point.

this is the meaning of Soul liberty – all are welcome, if they want to be saved. And nobody is compelled.

Apostasy reigns around us, churches are sliding into worldiness, a whitewashed Gospel is preached everywhere... "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Jeremiah 6:16 (KJV) So, I'm speaking out. ...Why aren't you???
