Correct Doctrine 14

4.9 Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of God the Father, exalted and worshipped day and night by angels in heaven. (Heb. 1:3, 7:25; 10:10-14, Rev. 5:8-9, 5:12-14, 7:10)

4.10 Jesus Christ is the only mediator and advocate between God and Man. No priest or “saint” can mediate between man and God. (Heb. 10:12, 7:25; 10:10-14)

Important stuff today, like the last few times. There is no subject more important than the Lord Jesus Christ.

4.9 is not so controversial, except to a couple of cults, who maintain that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Archangel Michael. I’m sure on Judgment Day, when Christ is seated on the Great White Throne, he’s going to point to Michael and fix his gaze upon a crowd of several million and ask, “what is your defense now? There is Michael. Here I am. I told you unless you believe I am He, you will die in your sins. begone… I never knew ye.”

4.10 is going to upset some people. There is only one mediator between man and God.

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; Hebrews 10:12 (KJV)

25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25 (KJV)

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Hebrews 10:10-14 (KJV)

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Hebrews 1:3 (KJV)

Read those verses, and ask yourself, “can a priest make atonement for you? Can a “Saint” make atonement for you? According to the Bible… only the Lord Jesus Christ can. Does the Lord need to be sacrificed over and over again? no, the Bible says “one sacrifice for sins for ever”, “Once for all”. Can a Pope saying mass atone for your sins? Nothing can wash away my sins… nothing but the blood of Jesus. Can Mary or Joseph intercede for me? No, the Bible makes it clear – only “this man” – Jesus Christ.

So today’s teaching clearly refutes two cults and one false religion.

8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; Revelation 5:8-9 (KJV)

12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. 14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. Revelation 5:12-14 (KJV)

10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. Revelation 7:10 (KJV)

Apostasy reigns around us, churches are sliding into worldiness, a whitewashed Gospel is preached everywhere... "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Jeremiah 6:16 (KJV) So, I'm speaking out. ...Why aren't you???
