Word Study “To make Holy”

Hagiadzo – to make holy or consecrate.

This is a greek word study, to show and get a better feel for the use of the word “to make Holy.”

Something that is consecrated is set apart for holy use, for use by God. Thus, as you’ll see, the verses make clear by the context of the use of the word Hagiadzo¬† that the believer in Jesus Christ is set apart for Holy use.

This explains the antonymic comparison Paul used of “vessels of honor, and vessels of dishonor.”
