On the E-Sword module website is a man who is a Campbellite/Church of Christ. He routinely publishes his cult’s writings on the E-Sword module website in the form of modules. No problem. go right ahead and publish your non-biblical hoo-rah.
however, he chooses to add the tag “baptist” to the module, with the express purpose of trying to indoctrinate and proseletyze for his cult. Campbellites are not Baptists. He knows that unwary Baptists will simply click the “Baptist” tag, and that way they can be caught, snagged without warning into reading materials that not only oppose correct biblical doctrine, but also “preach another gospel”, one where one must do works to be saved (Baptism). This places the “Church of (Another) Christ” into the category of being under the curse of Galatians 1, and this author under the Biblical classification of being a wolf in sheeps clothing. A False teacher.
I cannot come to any other conclusion. His very tactics show him to be without integrity. If he was using integrity, he would simply tag the module “Church of Christ” – and stop lying To say it is “Baptist” when it is not, is like saying you are something you are not, or you did something you did not. it is lying.
This is typical of cultish behavior, not Christian. Christians engage in dialogue with christians who go to churches with incorrect doctrine, and try to educate and edify them. they do not lie. Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons obscure the truth and lie when proseletyzing. Apparently. so does Church of (False) Christ.
The moderators at the E-Sword forum should warn him to remove the “baptist” tag, and any other dishonest labeling he may be using. If he does not comply, they should warn him once more. If he remains non-compliant or argumentative, then they, according to Romans 16:17 and many other verses on the subject, should promptly ban him, and remove his cultish materials from their server.
